Bomb and Anti-bomb

Today, I dare to reveal, that nothing in my greatest love-life has been closer to my heart than to creating my own bomb. A bomb, a bomb of words and spirit. Then try to understand how incredibly fortunate it was for me to be present, when a blood-dropping Europe was on the threshold of a new post-war era, and a French general proclaimed:

‘Without the nuclear bomb, the nation-state cannot survive.’

These words set me in strong motion, and I cried out from the depths of my soul, I cried with such a fever in all my blood, that the words sounded like unto heaven, to He who thrones upon the higher power of the Word:

“Does not the human, the small-displaced individual, have a greater right to survive than the impersonal nation-state?”

Not long after that, I realized with shock, how right he was, the French general. He rightly insisted that man was not yet discovered here on earth, but only the nation-state. In doing so, I stylishly grasped the two most basic needs of our world, first to discover the personal human being, and then, to develop a bombshell shield for the same human being.

Consequently, I threw myself into the bombing race, not only with the one general, but the entire French defense force. The question was, did I manage to have my bomb ready for blast at about the same time as the French?
